Row numbers & row signs

Row numbers & row signs for halls, churches & events

Clearly legible row signs and row numbers, individually bent for chair rows, church pews and block seating.

What is row numbering?

Row numbering (also called row marking) identifies every row of chairs with a number or letter, usually on the first chair of the row or on the church pew. Together with the seat number it forms the complete seat numbering of a venue.

Rows clearly marked

Whether “Row 5”, “Block C. Row 11” or “Row 2 left”: our row numbers and row signs guide your guests straight to their seats. Every row sign is made to fit the first chair of the row, or the church pew.

  • Freely labelled: row, block, sector, left/centre/right
  • Legible from both sides on request, practical for centre aisles
  • For church pews: wide rest that protects the wood
  • Uniform design with your chair and seat numbers
  • Changing layouts? Signs repositioned in seconds

Seat numbering from a single source

Most customers combine row signs with clip-on chair numbers, same font, same colours, one coherent look throughout the hall. On tube frames our tube clips take over row marking. With UV full-colour printing, row signs can also carry sponsor logos.

Which sizes are available?

From a compact row number to a large row sign with block information, size, shape and font height depend on reading distance and chair model. We are happy to advise.

Does this work on church pews?

Yes, for church pews we make signs with a wide, precisely fitted rest that mounts without drilling and protects the wood.

Can we change the lettering later?

The signs are printed permanently. For changing layouts we recommend additional signs (e.g. rows 1–30 instead of 1–20), affordable in small runs thanks to UV printing.
